Cloud Chamber is looking for a Senior Build Engineer to work on our build and automation systems, and other related developer tools, for our current and future games. This work will involve creating and extending a consistent and reliable process for source control, build systems, and automated testing. The person will work closely with our engineers, testers, producers and other developers throughout the game’s development.
We are looking for someone who will be responsible for automating and maintaining build and deployment process. You will be anticipating automation material resources and software needs for every milestone. You will also implement metrics and interpret these metrics to enhance the quality of the systems, make technical choices that reach beyond the project (long-term strategy) and work with other working units to make recommendations.
Skills, Experience et Qualifications:
- 5 years industry or related experience.
- Experience working in a senior role as a Build Master or Tools Engineer.
- Experience with source control systems such as Perforce, Git or SVN.
- Python, or similar scripting language.
- Excellent communication skills.
Nice to have:
- C#, WPF.
- Experience with C++.
- Experience with build systems.
- Experience with the Unreal Engine.
- Experience with automated testing.
- Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL).

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $105,000 and $155,000 per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
