  • Top Secret/SCI clearance required, with C/I Poly.
  • 10+ years of applicable experience supporting multi-source intelligence collection, processing, reporting, and analysis requirements with hands-on experience supporting ASO, PE, UW, and/or NAR/PR/SAR missions in the DoD environment.
  • Experience with HUMINT collection and operations support as well as 2 or more years of experience providing task, deliverables, and personnel management for a task order or contract of 10 or more staff.
  • Understanding and familiarity with intelligence collection and processing tools, processes, and procedures used by functional and geographic COCOMs and experience supporting SOF requirements.
  • BA/BS degree in a technical field or 6 years of additional relevant experience.
Responsibilities
  • Provide expertise to facilitate CONOP, COA development, and other activities related to Advanced Special Operations (ASO), Preparation of the Environment (PE), Unconventional Warfare (UW), NAR/Personnel Recovery (PR)/Search and Rescue (SAR), and other sensitive programs throughout USNORTHCOM AOR.
  • Assist in the development and coordination of sensitive activities projects, collection requests, and RFIs for assigned and/or deployed collectors focused on the USNORTHCOM AOR.
  • Provide COA, analysis, recommendations, and evaluation of reports and products developed by Special Operations personnel conducting HUMINT and other compartmentalized programs.
  • Coordinate, execute, attend, and participate in interagency committee meetings, conferences, and working groups for the coordination and de-confliction of operations affecting the USNORTHCOM AOR by providing written documentation of the meeting in a standardized meeting notes format.
  • Prepare briefs for Commander SOCNORTH that inform other COCOM, JCS, OSD, Intelligence Partners, and Congress on the capabilities, limitations, and value of ASO operations within the USNORTHCOM AOR.
  • Serve as the SME for development and review of operational requirements tasking for ASO overt and controlled operations currently assigned in the AOR by making recommendations on the prioritization of operational tasks for appropriate activities and incorporating tasks when additional requirements are received.
  • Facilitate the development of ODs, OPs, OPORDs, CONOP, CONPLANs, Automated Message Handling System (AMHS) traffic, Coordination Elements cables, and other official communications for units OPCON to assigned Command, to include input to all other documents pertinent to assigned countries.
  • Facilitate developing strategies for implementing collection requirements to integrate ASO into UW, PE, and NAR/PR/SAR operations in the AOR by facilitating discussions in intelligence collection meetings to satisfy long-range campaign plan recommendations.
  • Ensure OPSEC is incorporated into all products to ensure integrity of developed recommendations.
  • Provide expertise in support of HUMINT collection and HUMINT Operations Support programs.
  • Track SOF operations and sensitive activities that occur in foreign or domestic environments throughout the AOR and identify mitigations measures.
  • Communicate with personnel within SOCNORTH, other Geographic/Functional Combatant Commands, Interagency, and law enforcement partners to inform SOCNORTH J3X duties, roles, and responsibilities as they pertain to the USNORTHCOM AOR.
  • Perform duties to support up to 2 exercises and contingency operations annually that are approximately 5 days in duration including flexible work hours and shift work that exceeds 8 hours/shift or event.
