We’re looking for an Employee Relations Partner to join our People team. You’ll partner with the Director of Employee Relations to build and manage our employee relations program. This includes establishing policies, managing and resolving complex employee relations issues, performance management and providing guidance on disciplinary processes. You’ll work closely with management and other People team members to ensure that employee issues are addressed promptly and effectively, and that the organization maintains a positive and productive work environment.
You’ll report to the Director of Employee Relations and work from our Santa Ana, CA office.
What You’ll Do:
- Investigate and manage complex employee relations issues, including harassment, discrimination, policy violations, unethical or illegal conduct and workplace conflict.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to employee relations and ensure compliance with state and federal legal requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees regarding employee relations matters.
- Conduct training for managers and employees on topics related to employee relations, such as conflict resolution, and harassment prevention.
- Collaborate with HR business partners, legal counsel, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent and fair resolution of employee relations issues.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of employee relations cases.
- Analyze trends and identify areas for improvement in employee relations policies and practices.
- Conducts exit interviews, summarizes findings, and discusses trends and concerns with senior management.
- Support the development of an inclusive and positive workplace culture.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 2-3+ years of experience in employee relations, HR frontline facing or a related field
- Experience supporting Product, Tech and Corporate role teams
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, particularly those related to discrimination, harassment, and retaliation
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent interpersonal, counseling, and influencing skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Experience conducting workplace investigations and providing guidance to managers and employees
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, Wicklander-Zulawski or AWI Training) is preferred but not required
- Experience working in a large, complex and remote organization (preferred not required)
Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $75,140 - $101,660. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, experience, and skill set.
