Job Description:

Leidos is seeking a DevOps Cloud Intern in Orlando, FL.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Leidos Hosting Services Cloud team is seeking a DevOps Automation intern. This individual will work with Cloud Engineers to reduce manual effort, improve the quality of our services, and increase our velocity by documenting and developing automation to replace inefficient processes.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the Cloud team with the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of AWS/ Azure/ and Google Cloud infrastructure deployment and configuration management pipelines within Hosting Services. Help design and develop new automations that reduce and eliminate inefficient processes. This position will allow the intern to work remotely.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
•Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited educational institution.
•Experience with scripting languages such as Python,YML, BASH, Ruby, or Perl.
•Experience with AWS and / or Azure.
•Basic understanding of configuration management with Ansible (Preferred), Chef, Puppet, or any other configuration management tool.
•Experience with version control using GitLab, or GitHub.
•Basic knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment concepts.
•Ability to telecommute.
•US Citizenship is required.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $53,300.00 - $82,000.00 - $110,700.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
