UI Engineer

Software Requirements

Overall Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver key UI services for cloud-based applications
• Build reusable software components for liquidity monitoring solutions
• Make informed decisions to ensure functionality and aesthetics of user interfaces
• Work collaboratively with UX, development, and marketing departments
• Create and maintain documentation for UI components and services
• Ensure UI solutions meet regulatory and compliance requirements
• Participate in code reviews and quality assurance processes

Technical Skills

Must Have

• UI Development
  • Experience with UI frameworks and libraries
  • Strong understanding of interface design principles
  • Ability to create responsive and accessible interfaces
• Python
  • Advanced knowledge of Python programming
  • Experience with Python-based libraries/functions
  • Data analysis and manipulation using Pandas and NumPy
• Visualization
  • Proficiency in Plotly Dash for interactive dashboards
  • Experience with Tableau, Excel, and Matplotlib
  • Ability to represent complex financial data visually
• Cloud Technologies
  • Experience with Azure cloud services
  • Understanding of cloud architecture principles
  • Knowledge of deploying applications to cloud environments

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in UI development
• Demonstrated experience building Python-based libraries/functions
• Proven track record in data analysis and visualization
• Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Azure
• Previous work in financial services or banking is desirable

Day-to-Day Activities

• Develop and maintain UI components for liquidity monitoring tools
• Collaborate with team members on interface design and implementation
• Analyze and visualize complex financial data
• Participate in daily stand-ups and team meetings
• Debug and troubleshoot UI issues
• Write clean, maintainable code
• Implement new features and enhancements
• Document code and development processes
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Certifications in Azure or cloud technologies (preferred)
• UI/UX design certifications (beneficial)
• Python programming certifications (beneficial)
