Responsibilities

Assist in collecting and organizing information for preparation of user manuals, training materials, installation guides, and reports
Edit functional descriptions, system specifications, user manuals, special reports, or any other customer deliverables and documents
Translate basic information from work specifications, and technical documentation from NSTM’s, Mil Standards, and OEM technical manuals
Work with engineers and data scientists to ensure technical accuracy

Barbaricum is seeking a Technical Writer to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center-Philadelphia Division with the analysis of HM&E machinery and ship control systems for sensor and control data on surface ship classes. Support includes performing analytical and algorithm software; engineering, technical, logistics, and program support for the development, prototyping, implementation and in-service support of Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) data analysis.
