Summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking a Product Liability Attorney with at least 1+ years' experience to join its growing complex litigation group, may sit in any office in Southern California. The Product Liability Attorney will handle a complex caseload, up to and including trial. Ideal candidate will have strong plaintiff personal injury and product liability experience.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day handling of state and federal cases from inception of identifying potential defect theory to trial of the matter
Investigation, drafting and filing of litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions, and memoranda
Guiding clients through the case process
Interacting with expert witnesses, including preparation of expert reports and affidavits
Preparing for and attending depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances

Qualification

Law degree from a fully accredited law school
An active member in good standing with the California State Bar Association
Minimum 1+ years' of product liability experience, including trial, deposition, and motions experience in technical, complex cases, ideally on behalf of plaintiffs
Exceptional research skills. Candidate should be capable of scouring the earth on Westlaw to find applicable caselaw
Excellent client service and communication skills
Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
Superior writing and oral advocacy skills with a close attention to detail

$110,000—$140,000 USD
