Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in platform engineering or SRE roles, working with programming languages such as Python, Golang
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related or equivalent industry experience
  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes, especially in public cloud environments like EKS, GKS, or AKS and administering Kubernetes clusters
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform)
  • Familiarity with public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Argo, Drone, or similar
  • Knowledge of platform observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar
  • An analytical mindset and a passion for solving complex business challenges with technology.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a team of highly skilled platform engineers to maintain and expand Acuity Scheduling's services platform.
  • Design and build the next-generation service platform using industry-leading practices and emerging technologies to support Acuity Scheduling's growth.
  • Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to architect and enhance compute platform capabilities, enabling efficient application development and iteration to support business needs.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to eliminate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
  • Take part in an on-call rotation to uphold platform health and operational excellence.
