  • Proficient in JavaScript, Typescript, Java.
  • Basic understanding of React & ReactNative and how applications designed using these frameworks ingest APIs.

  • Experience with creating automated API test using tools like ReadyAPI or Postman.
  • Leadership skills to coach and mentor junior members of the team to enable progressive career development and an incredible employee experience.
  • Highly data driven – know how to infer metrics about the health & performance of a team and optimize around them.

Responsibilities
  • Support with ensuring all APIs developed adhere to our enterprise API standards governing data access, security, frameworks, and patterns.
  • Partner with our Enterprise Cloud Engineering & DevSecOps teams to adhere to our enterprise standards.
  • Support with building APIs and backend functionality required to service requests.
  • Partner with our QA team to define the test approach and implement structured testing that ensures functionality, identifying and addressing deficiencies.
  • Work with our other platform teams to define a low-touch deployment approach for APIs.
  • Support with ensuring all APIs are monitored for uptime and availability within our Observability & Monitoring platform.
  • Support with minimizing the impact of disruptions within features and identifying and addressing underlying issues to prevent recurring incidents.
