  • 12 + years of experience in media/tech, in a corporate setting
  • A high degree of executive credibility, preferably within the technology, e-commerce, and media space
  • A proven track record developing and encouraging a team of dedicated professionals
  • A quick learner with an analytical mind, able to exert strategic vision with conviction
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, with a track record of building teams and leading change
  • A strong bias-to-action, adept and agile on changing course and getting things done on short timeframes

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of a communications strategy to promote Patreon’s brand, employees, tools, and services
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support product launches, brand moments, events, special projects, and campaigns
  • Create effective communications campaigns that engage creators and build brand awareness
  • Support product communications, having launched or managed many tech products
  • Strategize and implement communications campaigns, build and scale ambitious approaches
  • Partner with executives to make strategic and influential presentations to leadership
  • Act as a company spokesperson

  • Excellent at day to day operational management, leading communication and work with different partners at the same time
  • Able to lead and support corporate topics and programs, from narrative to speaking opportunities placements
  • Supporting consumer narratives using zeitgeist moments and consumer insights
  • A hands-on leader with a deep rolodex of journalists across many verticals
  • An excellent craftsperson when it comes to prose
