Customer Service
  • High School diploma
  • Graduation from a community or technical college in an electrical or mechanical field
  • Electrical knowledge of PLC's and electrical control panels
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Customer service experience
  • Critical thinking and troubleshooting ability
  • Synthesizing technical information and communicating it clearly
  • Deriving insight from customer experience
  • Millwright License (advantageous)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to operate with substantial lifting and physical work
  • Diagnosing, repairing, and servicing Flygt and other Xylem equipment
  • Dissembling Flygt equipment
  • Assisting with field work including mechanical/electrical start-ups
  • Assisting with 'On Call' for Emergency breakdowns
  • Some travel required (20%-30%)
  • Driving requirements
  • Lifting equipment and parts (30-40 pounds)
  • Standing at workbench while performing repairs
  • Operating overhead, jib, and HIAB cranes
  • Operation of lift truck and crane truck
  • Shop work on equipment used in the water and wastewater industry
  • Site work on equipment used in the water and wastewater industry
  • Outdoor work on equipment used in the water and wastewater industry
