We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Specialist to join Middle Office Team. This role is located in Pune.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
We are looking for professionals with relevant experience in Corporate Actions Middle Office Operations, supported by a strong background in core custody or middle office operations. The role requires hands-on expertise in processing Corporate Action events and Reconciliation across global markets with a focus on accuracy, control, and timely execution.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Create and scrub corporate action announcements using TPCs and market sources (e.g., Bloomberg, IDC, DTC).
- Prepare event notifications, checklists, and event files with complete, accurate details and timelines.
- Track client elections and transmit instructions to custodians and relevant third parties.
- Process payments and allocations, including cash entitlements and stock distributions.
- Reconcile client holdings between IBOR and custody records to ensure accurate transaction processing and entitlement calculations.
- Perform cash entitlement and stock position reconciliations; resolve breaks promptly.
- Produce and deliver multiple client reports in line with agreed formats and schedules.
- Research and respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders, depositories, agents, brokers, clients, investment managers, sub-custodians, and custodians.
- Meet or exceed team SLAs, control standards, and quality metrics.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to achieving team goals and objectives.
- Serves as a resource for less experienced staff, expected to understand all corporate action procedures, corporate action events and market practices.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) in a relevant discipline required.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Corporate Actions, Event Creation, and/or Middle Office operations required.
- Experience in financial services and corporate action is preferred.
- Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.

- Technical: Familiarity with Custody and Middle Office corporate action processing tools, data vendors (e.g., Bloomberg, IDC), and strong reconciliation and break-resolution skills.
- Analytical: High attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex event terms and calculate accurate entitlements.
- Communication: Clear, professional written and verbal communication for client reporting and stakeholder inquiries.
- Organizational: Proven ability to manage multiple events, deadlines, and reporting obligations in a control-focused environment.
- Collaboration: Strong teamwork mindset with a willingness to support peers and share best practices.
