Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, in communications, creative or technical writing, HCI, UX, or similar field
  • 3-5 years experience writing consumer-facing product content, including web, app, email, SMS, chatbot, SEO content, FAQs, etc
  • A portfolio that showcases relevant work experience
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Experience mentoring other writers
  • Excellent skills in communication, editing, and proofreading, including QA/QC
  • Ability to produce high-quality content in a high volume, fast-paced product design environment
  • General understanding of digital marketing and communication best practices, including UX Writing and Design
  • Experience using web-based design applications and tools, including Figma, HTML, and Google products
  • The ability to collect, analyze and interpret testing and customer utilization data, including A/B testing
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others effectively in a professional, courteous manner in an office environment
Responsibilities
  • Write clear, concise, original content across multiple channels and touch points, in Carvana's tone and voice
  • Translate complex concepts and processes into compelling, easy to follow content
  • Develop strategies to shape positive customer experiences, create cohesive product narratives, and align product copy with the brand
  • Partner with stakeholders and team members to build, deliver and maintain content guidelines, including a robust style guide for every touchpoint
  • Conduct competitive research and provide solutions and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Mentor other team members and provide constructive feedback to peers
  • Work with analytics and research partners to make data driven recommendations
  • Stay up-to-speed on relevant industry trends and monitor competitive products
