Requirements
  • Hands-on electrical and mechanical experience.
  • For refrigeration work, hands-on experience and any certifications or licenses required by the state.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A good driving record.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overnight and weekends, to meet customer needs.
  • Ability to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally move more than 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to perform repeated bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, and ladder climbing.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
  • A valid driver's license and a driving record meeting the company's safety standards.
Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance on gas, electric, water, refrigeration, and steam-powered commercial kitchen and heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning equipment.
  • Complete required paperwork for every job, including parts orders, work orders, and timesheets, in a timely manner.
  • Communicate professionally with customers about required repairs and job status.
  • Use appropriate repair tools, including hand tools and power tools.
  • Monitor truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked on the vehicle.
  • Maintain the service vehicle, tools, and uniforms.
