Requirements
  • Four to six years of experience in strategy consulting and/or the transportation or industrials industries, especially aviation, aerospace and defense, surface transportation, or industrials.
  • A strong background in conceptual problem solving and analytical skills.
  • A track record of leading and managing teams and delivering against tight deadlines in fast-paced and demanding environments.
  • Confidence presenting to senior executives.
  • An undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program.
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
  • Availability for a hybrid role targeting 60% togetherness.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the execution of individual project modules, including developing hypotheses, managing data collection, creating models, conducting analyses, performing primary and secondary research, addressing information limitations, and surfacing insights.
  • Support Partners in project delivery through accurate and high-quality case execution.
  • Own and develop executive client relationships, present to a wide range of audiences, and work day-to-day with clients and stakeholders.
  • Report to Engagement Managers and Principals and seek guidance on technical and senior-level direction for projects.
  • Coach consultants and help them develop their skill sets.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership of client projects and aspects of client relationships and the commercial process, sharing responsibility for engagement success with Partners.
  • Lead and manage complex programs to ensure on-time delivery against agreed goals, using firm best practices, personal expertise, and technical capabilities.
  • Guide and influence clients across situations, including commercial-process execution, and become a trusted advisor.
  • Build business by identifying new and expanded opportunities.
  • Create intellectual capital through thought leadership and maintain knowledge across adjacent topics.
  • Develop others and build followership as part of asset building for the firm.
  • Lead firm-building activities and serve as a role model for firm values.
  • Oversee and guide consulting teams as they develop hypotheses, review client information, conduct client interviews, derive insights, and produce deliverables.
  • Support Partners in project execution through project management, work planning, workflow management, and coaching and developing junior team members.

  • Four to seven years of relevant strategy consulting experience with a top-tier strategy consulting firm.
  • Proven experience delivering measurable EBITDA or profitability improvement.
  • Exposure to the full transformation lifecycle from design through execution.
  • A track record of leading and managing teams and delivering results in fast-paced, demanding environments.
  • A strong background in strategic problem solving with demonstrable analytical skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Client management experience.
  • A passion for the creative process and expansive, creative thinking.
  • An analytical and rigorous approach to uncovering insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within changing priorities.
