Job Description
APostdoctoral Fellowpositionisavailable in the Department of Physiology and Cell Biology at the University of Nevada Reno, School of Medicine, tostudy the involvement of cholesterol and lipid metabolism in thepathogenesisof inherited peripheral neuropathies.
Required Qualifications:
Applicants mustholdadoctoral degreeinthefieldofneuroscience,pharmacology, or molecularand cellbiology obtained within 5 years of start date.
Excellentoralandwritten communication skills
Strongrecordof productivity from previous training
A thorough knowledge in molecularandcellularbiology, and/or neuroscience is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
Theapplicantshouldhave ahighlevelofindependence in the design and execution of in vitro and in vivo experiments, the collection and analysis of data,and preparation ofmanuscripts.
