Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • An active New York provisional license or permit, such as LMSW, MHC-LP, or MFT-LP, is required.
  • Experience facilitating group therapy is required.
Responsibilities
  • Lead engaging Intensive Outpatient and Outpatient group therapy sessions using evidence-based and holistic approaches.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive group environment that fosters connection and growth.
  • Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, coordinated care.
  • Respond to clinical needs in real time, including crisis intervention when necessary.
  • Support drug and alcohol screening processes as needed.
  • Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development.
Desired Qualifications
  • Independent licensure, such as LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT, is strongly preferred.
  • Outpatient or substance use treatment experience is preferred.
