Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Advanced computer proficiency, including knowledge of building and manipulating spreadsheets.
  • Strong written and oral communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and respectfully with diverse constituencies.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee and execute course scheduling and curricular changes for the School of International Service.
  • Develop, oversee, and improve the timeline and processes for course scheduling and catalog changes.
  • Communicate the timeline and processes to SIS curricular stakeholders and implement accountability measures.
  • Work with the Office of the University Registrar to ensure that the SIS timeline and processes are coordinated and conform with the university-level timelines and processes.
  • Responsible for academic affairs data management and analysis of curricular offerings and scheduling.
  • Train others on pulling data from central databases and using the data to inform curricular decisions.
  • Coordinate and manage the creation of course schedules under the direction of the Associate Deans.
  • Advise the Associate Deans for Undergraduate and Graduate Education in developing course projections at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • Submit and monitor Course Schedule Change requests to the OUR.
  • Support the Associate Deans for Undergraduate and Graduate Education in developing the strategy for curricular offerings at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Desired Qualifications
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of data management systems, such as the Filemaker Pro Database.
  • Experience with Workday.
  • Familiarity with academic settings.
  • Interest in and/or experience with the field of international studies.
  • Experience managing curricular strategy, goal-setting and changes.
