Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • 3+ years of experience with g-code, set up, operation and/or programming of CNC mill/lathe machines
  • 8+ years of horizontal mill experience
  • 8+ years of lathe experience
  • 8+ years of CNC programming experience
  • Ability to read and work off of a blueprint
  • Must be available for 1st shift (6:00 AM to 4:30 PM) or 2nd shift (3:30 PM to 2 AM)
  • Ability to work all shifts, overtime and weekends as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted
  • Ability to stand for extended periods - 8 hours min
  • Ability to stoop, bend, crawl, and being able to maneuver in tight spaces
  • Ability to work in an environment with repetitive movement, bending or twisting, using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls, exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting
  • To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State. Responsibilities
  • Responsible for setting up, operating multi-axis CNC machines (mills and lathes) up to and including 5 axis mills and 6 axis lathes
  • Responsible for all types of drilling, tapping, milling and turning of CNC machines
  • Responsible for completing machining operations from blueprints, drawings and/or verbal instructions
  • Responsible for working with complex, tight tolerance parts and various materials
