Unified Health seeks a motivated individual interested in an HR Career to join us! This HR Administrator role provides a great opportunity to learn and grow with the nation’s leading Medicare Company. The position expectation is to work a hybrid in-office schedule in West Jordan, Utah.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
- Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation, and maintains I-9 files.
- Conducts audits of payroll, benefits, or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
- Assists with processing of terminations.
- Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
- Assists with recruitment and interview process. Tracks the status of candidates in HRIS and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process.
- Prepares new-employee files, and files documents into appropriate employee files.
- Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
- Assists with employee inquiries by phone, email, etc.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel proficiency.
- Experience with One Drive preferred.
- Experience with WorkDay preferred.
Education and Experience:
- Aspirations in obtaining SHRM certification or actively enrolled in related degree programs.
