Requirements
  • BS in Natural Resource Sciences, Environmental Sciences, or a related scientific field
  • 12+ years of experience in environmental consulting or applicable fields (industry, government, academia)
Responsibilities
  • Manage the scope, schedule, budget, and project team for projects involving a wide range of technical field studies, analyses, and regulatory and permitting tasks
  • Manage project teams including scientists such as biologists, cultural resource specialists, and GIS specialists, and administrative professionals
  • Prepare proposals and support marketing efforts for water or infrastructure clients.
  • Provide senior-level expertise and technical guidance on complex projects involving the Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, and other federal and state laws
  • Lead and participate in agency consultations to determine and advise on effective permitting strategies
  • Provide leadership to scientists and help to mentor, train, and guide junior and mid-level staff
  • Prepare technical reports, NEPA documentation, USACE 404/10 permit applications, and mitigation plans
