Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state.
- At least two years of clinical work experience with children and/or adults in the human services field.
- Experience in psychiatric or mental health nursing.
- Knowledge of psychiatric disorders and medication management.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric assessments.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans.
- Administer medications.
- Monitor clients' mental and physical health status.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide appropriate and holistic care throughout treatment.
- Facilitate therapeutic groups and individual counseling sessions.
- Educate clients and their families on mental health topics.
- Support clients in developing coping strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of nursing interventions, client progress, and outcomes while adhering to ethical standards and best practices in psychiatric nursing.
- Provide consultation to supervisors and perform other assigned duties.
- Complete and submit initial prior authorizations and continued stay reports.
- Submit prior authorizations and continued stay reports in Notable.
- Facilitate monthly clinical training for employees.
