We are seeking a Product Strategy Manager to spearhead our newly established product strategy function. This role presents a unique and exciting opportunity for you to join us early on and lead the creation of compelling strategies that will enable us to provide the right autonomous trucking products to our industry partners at the right time. As the Product Strategy Manager, you will have the autonomy to shape critical aspects of the Waabi Driver roadmap, such as the expansion into new markets, the evolution of product models, and the definition of high-level capabilities. Your contributions will be integral to setting the program’s ultimate direction.
You will…
- Lead the development of core elements of Waabi’s Commercial Product Strategy, including our expansion roadmap, market segmentation, and go-to-market plans.
- Be a trusted advisor to company leadership.
- Plan and accelerate product development by applying rigorous thinking to answer foundational questions.
- Translate strategy into action by developing and disseminating quarterly OKRs and launch milestones to the company.
- Conduct market research to understand trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape, and in the process, become an expert in the autonomous trucking industry.
- Work cross-functionally across Waabi to help define Waabi’s product strategy.
- Assist with product refinement by bringing the customer voice into our development.
Qualifications:
- Experience in consulting or at a fast-growing tech company, ideally in strategy, product/program management, or advisory roles.
- Top-notch written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Significant experience drafting written communication - documents, slides, recommendations, etc.
- Data-driven and tech-savvy - you are drawn to large data sets and can derive conclusions and insights from multiple data sources.
- Able to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Solid technical aptitude and an ability to understand technical designs, challenges, and risks; ability to work closely with engineers.
- Open-minded and collaborative team player with the willingness to help others.
- Able to maintain progress towards long-term goals while working on short-term problems.
- Passionate about self-driving technologies, solving hard problems, and creating innovative solutions.
Bonus/nice to have:
- Experience developing strategic plans and/or implementing projects for the transportation industry.
- Passionate about the AV space.
- Experience with external partners in a commercial setting.
The US yearly salary range for this role is: $112,000 - $218,000 USD in addition to competitive perks & benefits. Waabi’s yearly salary ranges are determined based on several factors in accordance with the Company’s compensation practices. The salary base range is reflective of the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Note: The Company provides additional compensation for employees in this role, including equity incentive awards and an annual performance bonus.
