Grand Villa of Ormond Beach is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Activities Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with seniors, particularly those experiencing dementia and other memory loss issues. This role involves multitasking across our assisted living and memory care departments, providing engaging entertainment and activities for our vibrant senior community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and implement a variety of activities and entertainment tailored to the interests and needs of seniors, including those with memory loss.
- Foster a supportive and engaging environment that promotes social interaction and cognitive stimulation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the well-being and safety of all residents during activities.
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and feedback to continuously improve programming.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to promote upcoming events and activities.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience working with seniors, particularly those with dementia or memory loss.
