Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Engineering Operations Lead to join our team! In this role you will get to support the GMD Chief Engineer Office (GM-CE) as the Operational Lead and will work directly with the Chief and Deputy Engineer to ensure all tasks (Engineering and Administrative) are properly audited and recorded for review.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide direct support to the GMD Chief Engineer and complete duties as assigned

• Support Engineering Milestone Reviews, boards and working level meetings by assisting in developing agendas and content, developing presentation charts, comprehending action items, and assisting in resolving issues as required, tracking actions to completion, providing meeting summaries, capturing lessons learned and any other duties as needed by the Government Customer

• Review and provide comments on assigned Prime Contractor/Government Objective Evidence (OE) for major reviews

• Comprehend current and future architecture and incremental builds of the GMD System, understand system requirements and interfaces

• Apply critical thinking analytical/engineering skills and problem-solving methodology to assigned tasks, to identify the problem, determine courses of action, develop paths ahead for task completion, and formulate recommendations to the Customer, status, and follow-up on task completion

• Assist in the development of Executive level briefings, papers, and other correspondence

• Perform studies on process improvements and provide findings and recommendations to the Government Customer. As part of the findings, communicate and defend plan methodologies, tools, analyses, and results to the Integrated Engineering Team

• Consolidate Weekly input for review

• Track all taskers and provide updates to staff with MDA Task Tracker

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• BS degree in a STEM and 7+ years of related professional experience

• Active Secret Security Clearance

• Experience in the Missile Defense Agency

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:

• Knowledge of the MDA Board Process

• US Department of Defense weapon systems design, systems engineering, development, testing, system integration, fielding, and/or operations

Salary Range:
