Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Five plus years of proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in professional services or consulting.
  • Extensive professional network that could include member organizations, industry groups, former customers and additional relationships that the individual has experience working with to assist in pipeline development.
  • Experience working with C-Level or equivalent client/prospect resources.
  • Sales methodology training and experience with methodologies that would be akin to Solution Selling or some other type of methodology.
  • Strong research and prospecting skills with the ability to uncover and articulate client needs.
  • Self-starter and highly motivated.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales enablement tools.

Responsibilities
  • Prospecting & Research: Identify and research target companies using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and internal CRM systems.
  • Prospecting & Research: Analyze industry trends and business challenges to uncover potential client needs that align with Sikich’s services.
  • Prospecting & Research: Identify and participate in relevant industry networking groups.
  • Prospecting & Research: Display best in class networking skills with a desire to regularly engage with business leaders.
  • Client Engagement and Sales Process Management: Implement a sales strategy for new account prospects, prepare client presentations, and attend local and regional networking events representing Sikich.
  • Client Engagement and Sales Process Management: Initiate contact with financial decision-makers through cold outreach, networking, and referrals.
  • Client Engagement and Sales Process Management: Conduct discovery conversations to understand business pain points and qualify opportunities.
  • Client Engagement and Sales Process Management: Engage internal Sikich subject matter experts as part of the engagement process.
  • Client Engagement and Sales Process Management: Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to scope and shape solutions.

The acquisition strengthens Sikich's technology capabilities across healthcare, higher education, industrials and financial services sectors. Combined with Sikich's business advisory capabilities, the partnership will offer clients end-to-end solutions across business, technology and governance. Sikich appoints Marc Moss as chief legal officer. Sikich, a Chicago-based accounting and consulting firm, has hired Marc Moss as chief legal officer. Based in Charlotte, NC, Moss brings 25+ years of legal leadership experience across retail, wireless, manufacturing, technology, and financial services - with extensive experience building legal teams, leading M&A transactions, and developing compliance programs. He has expertise across governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), litigation, employment law, contract negotiation, IP, and international transactions, among other areas.
