As a Client Team Lead you will be responsible for the administration and operation of a group of P&C Service team members. Direct supervision and direct handling and servicing of accounts in accordance with the practices, policies and procedures of HUB to ensure exceptional client service and satisfaction. This role requires an individual who is professional and who displays the drive, determination and self-motivation to lead a team while handling a book of business.
Your job responsibilities as a Client Team Lead:
Manage and service a small book of business while ensuring adherence to HUB Broker and GPL Regional standards.
Hire, train, and develop client support associates in collaboration with the Director of Client Relations.
Supervise and motivate department personnel, conducting performance appraisals and fostering a positive team environment.
Provide technical expertise on coverage, acting as a subject matter expert for team training and special projects.
Coordinate workloads within the department to ensure efficiency and coverage, while providing backup support when needed.
Foster strong relationships with producers, clients, and carriers to align with corporate goals and ensure client satisfaction.
Review operations reports, approve time tracking and expenses, and assist with career development and training needs.
Ensure compliance with HUB and GPL standards, providing guidance on quality control and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
Seven to ten years of leadership experience, with a focus on team management and development.
Two to five years of experience in insurance client management and enterprise client management.
Associate’s degree or equivalent preferred; relevant work experience may substitute for education.
Advanced professional designation (e.g., CISR, CIC) preferred or in progress.
Experience with property and casualty operations and insurance-related software (Epic preferred).
Strong knowledge of insurance agency operations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential information and meet tight deadlines.
