Requirements
  • At least 8 years of software architecture and development
  • At least 5 years software design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems
  • At least 5 years of experience with Spring Boot
  • 1+ years of experience with at least one of these DevOps tools: Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
Responsibilities
  • Design and implement software systems and applications that are reliable, scalable, and maintainable using Java programming language
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our software meets business needs and is aligned with our technical strategy
  • Guide our transition to DevOps by recommending tools, processes, and best practices that improve software delivery speed, quality, and reliability, with a strong focus on Docker and Containers
  • Develop and maintain technical architecture documentation, including diagrams, standards, and guidelines
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software development teams, ensuring that they adhere to best practices and use industry-standard tools and techniques, with a focus on Java, Docker, and Containers
  • Continuously monitor and analyze our software systems and applications, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for optimization and enhancement
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for the minimum education requirement
