Extreme Networks is seeking an intern to support the Venues, Sports & Entertainment sales teams. This team is responsible for driving new business, as well as building and maintaining customer loyalty in a key segment of Extreme’s customer base. As a member of the team, the intern will interact with various cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, and channels to help drive our go-to-market strategy and support some of our top initiatives.

Position Responsibilities

·Assist in representing our Wired/Wireless Data Networking, Network Management, and Security solutions.

·Support the sales team in growing revenue and profit margins within the assigned territory.

·Help prospect new business while supporting the growth of the existing install base.

·Participate in business planning and reporting activities (e.g., monthly forecasts, pipeline development).

·Develop relationships with cross-functional teams.

Requirements (Intern Level)

·Skilled at using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

·Strong communication skills and a good understanding of sales and business development principles.

·Basic understanding of business planning and forecasting.

·Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently with some direction.

·Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.

·Basic knowledge of the networking industry and competitive landscape is a plus.

·Eagerness to learn and grow in a sales environment.
