Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science with 5+ years of software development experience; 3+ years with a Master's; or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree (Level 3)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science with 8+ years of software development experience; 6+ years with a Master's; or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree (Level 4)
  • Active TS clearance required at time of application and ability to obtain SCI prior to start
  • Ability to pass a Counterintelligence Polygraph (CI-Poly) (not required to start)
  • At least 3 years of experience as a software developer
  • Experience developing software in C++
  • Experience developing software in Perl and/or Python
  • Experience using Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket
  • Experience using Agile principles, processes, and tools
  • Experience on Linux operating systems
Responsibilities
  • Develop software in C++, Python, and Perl in a RedHat Linux agile scrum environment using Atlassian tools as a team member on the Command and Control team.
Desired Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar
  • Current and active Top Secret/SCI clearance
  • Prior completed Counterintelligence Polygraph (CI-Poly)
  • Engineering or development experience with the Space Industry
  • Experience developing in Command, Control, and/or Telemetry applications
  • Experience that spans the full Software Development Life Cycle
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks (such as Gherkin or Robot Framework)
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present to program management and customers
  • Ability to effectively write technical documentation
  • Experience sharing knowledge, mentoring, and working in a collaborative environment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, testing, and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience developing software in Java
