As a Technical Program Manager (TPM) at Merlyn Mind, you can help bring the transformative potential of generative AI to enterprises across multiple domains. In this unique role, you will be both external and internal facing. You will work closely with customer in conjunction with a solution architect to help put together service agreements, requirements documents and statements of work. You will help determine a project plan for delivery of SaaS services in conjunction with the appropriate internal teams and ensure on-time delivery. You will also help with program and project management for internal programs including for exploratory projects. You are also expected to be abreast of the developments of the Generative AI field and be aware of capabilities and offerings of other companies in this rapidly evolving space.
What You’ll Do
- Help continuously define and refine our SaaS offerings
- Develop and manage end-to-end project plans to ensure on-time delivery and provide day-to-day coordination
- Identify and manage risks and issues throughout the program lifecycle
- Provide communication of planning, project status, issues and risks in a timely fashion to stakeholders
- Draft proposals, requirements, escalations, reports etc. for a broad audience of stakeholders.
- Bring a strong sense of urgency, execution and ownership to the team
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Gather and understand customer requirement and work with customers to prioritize and scope projects
- Manage customer expectations and communicate with customers regularly about project progress
- Gather customer feedback and use it to improve the product and service
- Help with competitive analysis of relevant Gen AI companies
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of software engineering and 3+ years of technical product/program management experience.
- Experience delivering tech programs or products from inception to delivery.
- Knowledge of user needs, gathering requirements, and defining scope.
- Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership.
- Communication experience and experience working with technical management teams to develop systems, solutions, and products.
- Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones.
- Experience working with product teams to build and deliver end-to-end customer focused products with technical knowledge of the underlying platforms and technologies.
- Deep understanding of SaaS products and services, as well as the SaaS industry.
- Experience in managing projects and tasks to completion.
- Proficient with Jira , Project and Resource management software.
- Be abreast of generative AI development and offerings.
