Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 5-8 years experience in merchandising, ideally within a tech-forward retail environment.
  • Interest and experience in eCommerce with passion for the customer, consumer and shopper
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and experience using data to influence business decisions
  • Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
  • Experience in the kids' products space with a deep understanding of top brands and trends
  • Basic understanding of AI and its application in matching product attributes to customer preferences
  • A passion for curation and the iterative process of improving product recommendations
  • Experience in Startup Tech preferred but not required
Responsibilities
  • Own the human curation layer of our Ai-generated product recommendation process by continuously adding and editing Top picks for kids’ toys, shoes, apparel, and baby gear.
  • Monitor the Ai-generated recommendations to ensure customers are receiving high quality product recommendations. Analyze results and identify the root cause of any low quality recommendations.
  • Keep abreast of top trending items in the kids’ toys, shoes, apparel and gear space.
  • Comb through our product catalog to ensure data accuracy and lead data clean-up efforts when issues are identified.
  • Complete research projects for kids’ products and write product guides to further train the AI model.
