- Current Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse license.
- Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification.
- Valid driver's license and current automobile liability insurance.
- At least 6 months of pediatric home health experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
- Provide skilled one-on-one nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes during 8–12-hour shifts.
- Care for children with serious illnesses, medical complexities, disabilities, or those recovering from injuries or extensive surgery.
- Assess patient conditions during each visit, including monitoring vital signs and seizure activity, and provide care for gastrostomy tubes, tracheostomies, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilators.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and according to the individualized plan of care.
- Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
