- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of nonprofit accounting experience required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit fund accounting.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and reconciliations.
- Prepare and process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Assist with grant reporting, tracking expenditures, and ensuring compliance with funding requirements.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Prepare journal entries, financial statements, and audit schedules.
- Collaborate with program managers to provide financial insight and support.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and nonprofit accounting best practices.
