Requirements
  • At least 2 years of wind turbine maintenance, service, and repair experience.
  • Preferred experience with the Vestas platform, lockout/tagout, and V100 and V110 certifications.
  • Strong understanding of wind turbine systems and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and travel on short notice to assist on other projects.
  • Ability to climb and work at heights, in confined spaces, and in outdoor environments.
  • Ability to participate in and respond to an on-call 24/7/365 rotation schedule.
Responsibilities
  • Perform equipment assessment and troubleshooting, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and service activities.
  • Accurately document all service activity, including parts and materials consumption, detailed task explanations, and task start and stop times, using digital reporting systems.
  • Train and mentor Technician I employees in health, safety and environmental requirements, service activities, and preventative maintenance requirements.
  • Assist with project coordination, logistics, planning, and tracking for multi-project work tasks.
  • Participate in company and project health, safety and environmental meetings, briefings, and documentation requirements.
  • Communicate issues and solutions concisely to leadership.
  • Adhere to, support, and enforce company policies.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, peers, managers, and project personnel.
  • Work with Inventory Control to ensure projects are properly supplied with parts and consumables.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
