- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing

- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider certification from American Heart Association
- Registered Nurse license issued by the appropriate state board or compact state for Wisconsin (Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services) or a compact state, or for Illinois (Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation), Missouri (Missouri Division of Professional Registration), Oklahoma (Oklahoma Board of Nursing) or other compact state as applicable
- Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
- Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
- Assesses and coordinates patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
- May round with physician in an inpatient setting.
- Applies the existing body of evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge in health care to nursing practice, ensuring that nursing care is delivered based on patient’s age-specific needs and clinical needs as described in the department's Scope of Service.
- Demonstrates the professional nursing standards defined in the professional practice model and uses the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics for Nurses.
- Works in a constant state of alertness and safety.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Primary duties include rooming patients, triage, allergy shot clinics, allergy testing, and pulmonary function tests, with travel between East, West and Sun Prairie sites as schedule requires.
- Experience giving allergy shots is a plus but not required
