THIS POSITION IS ON THE OXFORD COLLEGE OF EMORY UNIVERSITY CAMPUS, 36 MILES EAST OF ATLANTA.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinates processes to ensure that information systems support departmental business operational needs.
• Serves as the first point of contact for coworkers and departmental liaisons regarding the use of designated systems.
• Gathers data to contribute to the development of business plans and strategies.
• Runs existing queries and provides input for the development of new queries.
• Recommends process improvements for daily operating procedures.
• Coordinates business functions that may involve participation from multiple business units.
• May oversee the distribution of computer generated reports to the university community.
• Performs related responsibilities as required.

ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS:

We are seeking a Slate Business Operations Specialist to support the administration, optimization, and daily operation of Slate. This position will work closely with functional offices and technical partners to maintain Slate CRM and OPUS processes, support users, improve workflows, ensure data quality, and assist with reporting and system enhancements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, service-minded, analytical, and comfortable working at the intersection of business operations, data, and technology. Slate Operational Support

• Support daily business operations within Slate, including application processing, communications, events, forms, portals, queries, reports, workflows, and records management.
• Assist with the configuration, maintenance, and documentation of Slate functionality.
• Participate in testing and quality assurance for new configurations, integrations, and process changes.
• Monitor operational processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency.
• Troubleshoot Slate-related issues and coordinate resolution with internal stakeholders.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• A bachelor's degree or two years of position specific subject matter knowledge and/or experience planning and applying information technology to one or more business function or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs.  Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department. This role requires residency in the state of GA. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
