Requirements
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a lodging division as a department head or division director, preferably in a unionized environment and ideally in luxury hospitality.
  • Experience in housekeeping is required.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to develop effective strategies.
  • Mobilizing leadership, strategic vision, and the ability to inspire teams to achieve objectives.
  • Results orientation and the ability to work in a dynamic and demanding environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both spoken and written, in French and English, to communicate comfortably and regularly with an international clientele.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop talent and build high-performing teams.

Responsibilities
  • Provide overall supervision of operations related to guest services, front desk, reservations, housekeeping, and Royal Service.
  • Lead the overall guest experience for the lodging division, including front desk, housekeeping, bell services, Royal Service, security, and concierge.
  • Act as a hotel ambassador for guests, including VIP and loyalty guests, and ensure the highest luxury-service standards.
  • Oversee strategies for continuous improvement of guest satisfaction, proactive complaint management, and online reputation optimization.
  • Own the lodging division's financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, productivity, and revenue maximization.
  • Actively participate in revenue management and short- and long-term strategic planning, including renovation and investment projects, while ensuring daily operational efficiency.
  • Lead, mobilize, and develop lodging-division teams by fostering a high-performing, collaborative, excellence-focused work environment.
  • Supervise workforce planning, recruitment, talent development, and succession planning.
  • Maintain high colleague engagement and promote a culture of recognition, accountability, and professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards, quality audits, and operational standards.
  • Establish measurable objectives aligned with hotel priorities and drive continuous performance improvement in collaboration with other departments.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of guests and colleagues.
  • Participate actively in planning and executing crisis-management measures for the lodging division and serve as a key member of the hotel's crisis-management team in accordance with corporate policies and procedures.
