Requirements
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of legal experience in private practice, government, and/or in-house OR Minimum 7 years, including +1 year Uber internal.
  • J.D. and license to practice law in at least one U.S. state.
Responsibilities
  • Lead legal reviews of new products and features for consumers, merchants and earners on the Uber platform, and coordinate global reviews with regional legal teams, positioning these products/features to reduce risk from the early stages of product development through launch.
  • Provide deeply partnered and strategic feedback to your business clients on a wide range of sophisticated issues, including in the areas of consumer protection, privacy, commercial law, intellectual property, licensing, and competition.
  • Be a catalyst, pulling information and expertise from cross-functional teams to ensure the provision of timely, actionable advice to the Delivery business.
  • Be a strong communicator and collaborator on a high-performing, diverse team to achieve our legal and business priorities.
  • Draft terms and conditions, FAQs, legal disclaimers, and other policies governing the use of Uber products and services.
