Requirements
  • Candidates must have open availability overnight from Monday through Sunday and should be willing to work 32-36 hours per week.
  • Candidates must be able to bend and stoop, stock 50 cases per hour, work in temperatures from -10 to 40 degrees, push a loaded two-wheeler weighing an average of 100-120 pounds, pull a loaded pallet weighing up to 700 pounds, pull a loaded stock truck, lift up to 50 pounds, and remain on their feet for the entire 4-8 hour shift.
Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly and courteous service to customers.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Stock, straighten, and rotate products on shelves in the Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods, and Grocery Departments.
  • Process incoming products from warehouse and store delivery vendors.
  • Read and understand shelf tags.
  • Sort damaged products for credit.
  • Operate a hand jack, power lift, and cardboard baler.
  • Follow company safety guidelines when using cutters, power lifts, and the baler.
  • Maintain cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler, and freezer.
  • Maintain company productivity standards.
  • Perform other duties assigned at the discretion of store management.
Desired Qualifications
  • Store/Facility Teammates should have a minimum of six months of employment with Schnucks.
  • Store Support Center Teammates should have a minimum of one year of employment with Schnucks.
  • Internal candidates must be in good standing and not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline.
  • Internal candidates invited for an interview must have manager approval based on performance.
