University-Accounting Policy Intern
The Opportunity:
The Corporate Controller team plays a critical role in accounting and financial reporting. We assess Booz Allen Hamilton’s complex and technical accounting questions and prepare periodic financial reporting to management and for compliance purpose (e.g. Form 10-Q/K). We provide transaction-oriented accounting and reporting assistance, including analysis of new business initiatives, new accounting standards, development of accounting policies, and preparation of technical accounting memoranda.

You Have:
Experience with using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Experience with managing competing priorities and tasks
Knowledge of technical accounting and financial reporting standards
Ability to work independently and in teams
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor’s degree between Winter 2025 and Spring/Summer 2026
Nice If You Have:
Knowledge of general information technology or information systems
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possession of excellent critical thinking, time management, and workload management skills
Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
Pursuing educational requirements for CPA Licensure

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $42,600.00 to $87,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
