Why is this role important to Field Nation?
The Business Development Representative (BDR) will be the liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams. The BDR will play a critical role in developing leads from marketing campaigns and seeking new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers. Ultimately, this role will boost new logo sales and contribute to our long-term business growth. Field Nation is a fast-paced, high-growth technology company where innovative ideas are encouraged and collaboration is a must. We are located in Minneapolis, MN and this role works closely with the BDR Manager and Vice President, Sales.
What you’ll get to do:
- Lead Qualification & Pipeline Generation: Qualify leads from marketing campaigns and generate prospect lists using lead generation tools.
- Multi-Channel Outreach: Utilize cold calls, email marketing, LinkedIn messages, and multi-touch sequences to engage prospects and organize them using Outreach
- Collaboration with BDMs: Set up intro meetings or calls for high-potential accounts with Business Development Managers (BDMs) and pass qualified leads to them.
- Sales Ownership for Non-High-Potential Accounts: Manage discovery, pursuit, and closing processes, provide demos, answer product questions, and ensure seamless handoff to Customer Success.
- Goal Achievement & Travel: Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets, with occasional travel (up to 10%) for industry events and trade shows.
You might be a good fit if you have:
- 1+ years of sales experience
- Post-Secondary degree or related Business experience
- Experience in Field Service, Telecom, IT Services, Technology, Staffing, Electrical, or Retail industries preferred
- Working knowledge of Salesforce, Hubspot, Outreach, and Change to LinkedIn Navigator preferred
