Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Seven years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist providing business consultations on topics such as performance management and workplace concerns.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Google-wide human resources policies, local and market legal and regulatory requirements, and the People Operations Menu of Services.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver consultations on human resources topics including performance enablement, team, manager and leader effectiveness, career development, and navigating transitions.
  • Contribute to deploying human resources programs and processes for a business area, product area or market through consultations.
  • Identify, recommend and advance long-term, scalable and simplified solutions that continuously improve people processes, seeking senior leader input or buy-in when needed.
  • Identify key business, product and market areas and People Operations stakeholders to build a network and contribute to cross-team collaboration.
  • Provide personalized guidance, support and solutions across People Operations activities for employees, People Partners and other People Operations teams.
  • Provide timely responses, share knowledge and experiences with fellow team members, and balance individual needs with organizational philosophy, principles and available resources.

  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration and influence.
  • Experience working with Works Councils and unions.
  • Experience with absence, injury and performance processes.
