- Ability to perform basic mathematics.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to participate in paid training that may require overnight travel.
- Ability to obtain United States Postal Service Mail Handling Certification.
- Ability to obtain airport security clearance.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Must obtain and maintain a Security Identification Display Area badge and remain in good standing to retain it.
- Load and offload luggage and cargo and transport them to various airport locations.
- Distribute paperwork to flight crews, including fuel slips, load plans, cargo manifests, and flight releases.
- Marshal and push back aircraft.
- Prepare weight and balance forms and maintain load integrity by entering accurate commodity codes and weights into a data entry system.
- Service aircraft as necessary, including lavatory service, potable water service, aircraft grooming, deicing, and security searches.
- Operate and drive multiple types of equipment, including belt loaders, tugs, air-start units, bag carts, lavatory carts, and deicing trucks.
- Execute aircraft tow operations when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
