Requirements
  • Experience within a Product/Quality Assurance role, preferably within space, aerospace or defence industries
  • A background in design and production for electro-mechanical parts and systems (with assemblies, electronics and software experience as an advantage)
  • Knowledge of high-reliability parts and materials
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to think 'outside of the box'
  • A flexible and adaptable approach
  • A structured approach to problem solving
  • Ability to lead problem solving teams
  • Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office

  • Degree preferred however as a minimum HNC/HND in Electronic/Mechanical Engineering.
Responsibilities
  • Establish and advise the product assurance and compliance to requirement aspects of new projects, products and plans
  • Underpin the design, test and manufacturing readiness reviews within the project lifecycle
  • Reinforce the assembly, verification, validation and test phases of the project
  • Flow down quality requirements to the customer and supply chain
  • Facilitate customer mandated reviews
  • Support a programme of risk based internal and external audits
  • Adopt the administration of co-authorise and close out permits, concessions and NRBs.
