Requirements
  • A Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or a related role, or a Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in those fields and three years of experience in the job offered or a related role.
  • Prior experience must include application and infrastructure architecture and security in on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Experience working with application security vulnerabilities and controls to remediate risks, including Open Worldwide Application Security Project and Common Weakness Enumeration.
  • Experience assessing and mitigating software security threat vectors, threat modeling, attack surface analysis, security design reviews, source code reviews, penetration testing, or vulnerability assessments.
  • Experience working in a shift-left environment to embed security in the design phase and implement security controls within system architecture.
  • Experience conducting infrastructure or application security risk assessments.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional technology risk programs by coordinating stakeholders across engineering, business leadership, and regulatory teams and applying operations management principles to optimize delivery while aligning risk mitigation objectives with organizational goals.
  • Experience collaborating in high-level architectural and engineering discussions to assess security risks and strengthen application, infrastructure, and cloud security strategies.
  • Experience developing secure software delivery proposals to improve security controls, reduce vulnerability remediation costs, and mitigate operational risk.
Responsibilities
  • Perform security assessments of business-initiated projects and drive adoption of application and infrastructure security controls and best practices.
  • Ensure security and privacy by design, including design process improvements, control assessments, data models, cryptographic implementation, and compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Advise on engineering approaches that protect the firm's network from security risks related to client/server architectures, cloud architectures, web services, and mobile applications.
  • Conduct risk reviews of third-party system integrations against firm policies and standards.
  • Drive implementation of security controls across platforms by working with technology teams and leveraging data analytics and machine learning techniques to enhance risk monitoring and inform control effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the global team and coordinate stakeholders across engineering and business leadership to operate and improve the cyber program.
  • Provide input into the improvement of sensory tools, detection tuning, and access to data sources to increase detection effectiveness while aligning with risk mitigation objectives and organizational goals.
  • Highlight risks to developers and engineers and perform application vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of web applications.
  • Perform code reviews of web application programming languages, assess technologies leveraging common web stack technologies, and conduct architecture reviews of web applications.
  • Build user-friendly dashboards for divisional executive leadership to track progress and support decisions regarding the security engineering year-over-year body of work.

ByteDance's $20B loan attracts $30B in orders to fund AI expansion

ByteDance has attracted over $30 billion in orders for a $20 billion offshore syndicated loan, representing 1.5 times oversubscription. The three-year facility, extendable to five years, marks the TikTok parent company's largest syndicated loan to date. This continues ByteDance's pattern of scaling up its borrowing. The company debuted in the syndicated loan market in 2019 with $1.335 billion and closed a $10.8 billion facility in 2024. Major international banks, including Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, and JPMorgan, have participated in previous rounds. ByteDance has raised its 2026 AI capital expenditure budget to over CNY 200 billion (approximately $30 billion), a 25% increase. Flexential secures $800M to develop 130+ MW of data centre capacity across four US markets

Flexential has secured an $800 million credit facility to fund data centre development across four US markets. The financing will support more than 130 MW of new capacity, including facilities under construction in Atlanta-Douglasville (36 MW), Portland-Hillsboro (36 MW), and Denver-Parker (22.5 MW). The facility was oversubscribed and increased 60% from an initial $500 million target. It is backed by an 11-bank syndicate, with TD Securities as administrative agent. The funding complements equity investment from Flexential's sponsors, GI Partners and MSIP. CEO Ryan Mallory said the financing enables the company to invest ahead of enterprise and AI-driven infrastructure demand. Flexential operates 40 data centres across 18 markets in the US.
