Wawa drinks recalled over milk allergen.

Wawa drinks recalled over milk allergen. Certain 16 oz iced tea and lemonade beverages from Wawa have been recalled due to undeclared milk caused by a temporary production equipment issue. For individuals with milk allergies, even small amounts can trigger serious or life-threatening reactions. The labeling error means consumers may unknowingly be exposed to allergens. Customers are advised to check products carefully and avoid consumption if affected. This recall underscores the importance of accurate labeling in protecting consumers with food allergies and preventing avoidable health emergencies linked to hidden ingredients. Aller-C supplements may contain allergens. Vital Nutrients has recalled two lots of Aller-C supplements due to the possible presence of undeclared egg, hazelnut, and soy. These allergens can pose significant health risks for sensitive individuals. The affected lots, identified as 25E04-A and 25E04-B, may lead to allergic reactions if consumed. Consumers who rely on accurate labeling for safety should stop using the product immediately and verify lot numbers. This recall highlights the importance of transparency in supplement manufacturing and the need for strict quality assurance processes to ensure consumer safety and trust. Cream cheese labeling error poses allergy risk. Einstein Bros. Bagels has recalled certain cream cheese cups labeled as plain that actually contain the Honey Almond variety. This mislabeling introduces undeclared almonds, a common allergen that can cause severe reactions in sensitive individuals. The affected products include those with specific lot information such as Jul 21, 2026LO. Consumers are urged to check packaging carefully and avoid consuming mislabeled items. Accurate labeling is critical to consumer safety, especially for allergens, and this recall demonstrates how packaging errors can create serious health concerns. Chocolate cups may contain undeclared peanuts. Karns Foods has recalled Mini Dark Chocolate Raspberry Cups after discovering they may contain undeclared peanuts due to a packaging error. Peanut allergies are among the most severe food allergies and can lead to life-threatening reactions. Consumers who purchased these products should avoid consumption and return them for a refund. This situation emphasizes the importance of proper packaging controls and allergen labeling. Even small mistakes in production can have significant consequences, making recalls a critical step in protecting public health and maintaining consumer confidence.
