Requirements
  • 7-10 years of experience in external sales or business development, with a focus on the public and government sectors.
  • Proficient in presentation skills and adept at hunting for new business opportunities.
  • Strong proficiency in computer skills, social media utilization, and networking within the public and government sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience in selling Enterprise-wide 'Software as a Service' solutions and addressing new user requirements in a commercial context.
  • Proven track record of success in sales and business development roles.
  • University degree required, with relevant experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Compliance, or Risk Management preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Strategically cultivate new relationships with key stakeholders within government agencies and public sector organizations.
  • Lead strategic discussions with customers to ascertain their business objectives, risk management needs, and challenges within the context of public sector procurement.
  • Effectively communicate Everstream's value proposition and go-to-market messaging during customer interactions, ensuring alignment and compelling articulation of customer value.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on supply chain risk management within the public and government sectors, offering tailored solutions to address specific challenges.
  • Foster a robust pipeline of opportunities and achieve targeted new business wins within the public and government sectors.
  • Identify and nurture effective relationships with influential contacts within targeted organizations to maximize Everstream's interests.
  • Conduct thorough research to gather and analyze financial information, critical business processes, and system requirements of target accounts.
  • Lead potential customers through the opportunity development process, collaborating with the Inside Sales Team to facilitate actionable next steps.
  • Utilize various channels including phone, web, email, corporate events, and direct mail campaigns to qualify and validate inbound and outbound leads.
  • Network with decision-makers and influencers within the public and government sectors to expand outreach and generate new leads.
  • Present Everstream's solution to potential customers, highlighting clear business and solution alignment.
  • Drive commercial negotiations and finalize deals in collaboration with legal teams from both the customer and Everstream.
  • Ensure adherence to legal obligations and secure contractual documentation prior to service commencement.
  • Oversee the implementation, onboarding, and user adoption process as necessary.
  • Adhere to Everstream Sales Operations processes and effectively utilize our SFDC Application for tracking and reporting.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with management through in-person meetings, phone calls, and emails.
  • Gather customer feedback on product performance, review inputs with team members, and align priorities with Everstream's product management objectives.
