Requirements
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • A valid driver's license and compliance with applicable credentialing, licensing, and privileging standards are required.
  • Passing a drug screening test and extensive background check are required.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and an on-call rotation, is required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide intensive in-home services to youth ages 12–17 and their families using the evidence-based Multisystemic Therapy model.
  • Work collaboratively with families, community partners, and support systems to reduce risk factors and improve outcomes.
  • Conduct community visits with clients to develop, implement, and monitor goals.
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed, participate in group supervision, and provide consultation.
  • Collaborate with families, schools, and community systems to address the root causes of behavioral issues and foster long-term positive outcomes.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule to meet the needs of families.
  • Manage a caseload of approximately five cases.
Desired Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years working with at-risk youth and families, preferably in a home or community-based setting.
  • Licensed or license-eligible in South Carolina, such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Master Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
