  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of experience production assembly/fabrication (aerospace preferred) including but not limited to, composites, metallic, coatings application, and production manufacturing operations OR a Master's Degree with 6 years of experience production assembly/fabrication (aerospace preferred) including but not limited to, composites, metallic, coatings application, and production manufacturing operations
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret or Top Secret Clearance as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
  • Ability to interface/communicate with multiple levels of leadership, clients, and vendors
  • Ability to work any shift
  • STEM Degree (Science, Technical, Engineering or Mathematical)
  • Experience designing in 3D CAD e.g. CATIA, NX, CREO etc. Has a firm understanding of GD&T and tolerance stack-up
  • Experience managing projects (Cost, schedule and technical performance). Understanding of Coordination of design and fabrication requirements for tools and fixtures with customers, both internal and external.
  • Experience working hands-on in a production assembly line environment
  • Experience providing innovative techniques focused on improving product designs and tooling assemblies or equipment
  • Composite experience and process knowledge
  • Secret or Top Secret clearance preferred
Responsibilities
  • Lead and Coordination of design and fabrication requirements for tools and fixtures with customers, both internal and external.
  • Lead and Coordinate/develop & execute test plans.
  • Performing tolerance analysis to ensure form/fit/function.
  • Conduct root cause failure investigations and implement associated corrective actions.
  • Develop & evaluate process improvements.
  • Lead and Assist Product Development Team with new product designs to ensure manufacturability, validate process/technology.
  • Developing manufacturing processes, plans, and procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment in support of our process work instructions and visual aids of our shop planning process and other functions that affect product performance.
  • Lead Managing all phases of project: design, document, fabricate, assemble and validate.
